Positive: Beautiful house with lovely gardens that was dog friendly, had a fantastic stay. Really enjoyed the front porch views and the surrounds.
Negative: Living room was a bit uncomfortable, the couches and wood heater only made the kitchen/dining room more comfortable to spend time in.

Positive: What a lovely location if you want to relax and enjoy. Not to mention the river. Easy drive to Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale. Views are magnificent. Great area for our dog, all fenced in. A vegetable garden, although given the time of year I understand why there isn't a lot to pick from 😊. Carport for parking was great for the cold mornings. Fire wood to warm the house with a beautiful wood heater and oil heaters in the bedrooms. I really enjoyed flicking through the project book, showing all the progress at the property so far. All in all I would definitely recommend that you enjoy a stay at this lovely place. We even managed a later checkout to allow for the sunday market at Bairnsdale. Thankyou Kristy and family for allowing the world to come and enjoy this beautiful house and location. Obviously you still have projects to complete and a few adjustments to make the stay perfect but nevertheless it's somewhere I would love to revisit in the future.
Negative: I guess if I had to pick on something the floor in the dining room does make a lot of noise going to the toilet at 2am lol The couches in the lounge room are a little small for our liking. You do need to be a bit heavy handed whilst closing doors. Perhaps a little welcome basket with soap and shampoo or something to that effect would be encouraging.

Positive: The house is in a very accessible and pretty location, so close to the river Tambo. We liked that the character of the house is gradually being restored to it's former glory. It's well apppointed, clean and there are well considered furnishings and amenities. Kristy the host was exceptional throughout the whole process, from booking to departure. The communication regarding the check in and the fixtures in the house was clear and accurate and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts in regards to questions we asked. Having the animals nearby was a lovely touch and it's a it's rare to find a place like this, which is dog friendly. We really hope to return one day with our friends !!
Negative: Having no access to Wifi was sometimes a little tricky but we worked around it by using the WIfi at the local pub and shops or just used our data !
